Leo has seen his graphic novels recognized Nationally through CCBC’s Best Books for Teens Magazine, shortlisted in the Alice Kitts Memorial Award, his poetry published at Queens University, his adult short fiction available in literary magazines, and he has a novella coming out in 2025 through Galleon Books that was praised by The Paris Review.

In his home Province, Leo has been awarded the Dr. Marilyn Trenholme Counsell Literacy Award, won second place in the WeyMedia Books for Young People Prize, has been nominated for Producer and Songwriter of the year in the MusicNB Awards, and he has had the privilege of opening for The Crash Test Dummies.

Leo loves to learn about plants and trees, ride his motorcycle, and is largely inspired by people and nature.
